This fucking article pissed me off so bad on so many levels, I don't even know what to do. I don't know what is worse: the fact that taxes paid cosmetic surgery, that some stupid quack told her she probably couldn't lose the weight on her own and did the procedure or that she was raised by parents who can't pay for her health care but can send her to Israel. Un-fucking-believable.

Bittman for espousing a plant based diet for the ludicrous reason that it's somehow healthier and more sustainable than an animal product based diet. Parker-Pope for her massive fail in her clueless attempts at weight loss and pathetic "it's my genes" excuse and stupid dieting strategies that don't examine adequate sleep, the right kind of exercise and nutrition (not dieting) protocols for losing weight.
